Cared For

Valentines Day is just a few days away and I’ve been thinking….

What are my intentions towards you ladies?

What do I want my jewelry to do for you?

Mean to you?

Working with a coach over the past few months has prompted me to think about the purpose of my business more than ever before. It all started out because I loved to make jewelry. I was drawn to jewelry as a child and that passion ignited into a vocation the first time I held a torch. Over the years, my style and skills have grown and evolved but so has my reason for making Notions of Lovely Jewelry. It wasn’t a conscious decision, but lately the reason “why” have become crystal clear.

I want you to feel beautiful.

I see women everyday who give… and give… and give. They raise kids, they pursue careers, they schedule doctor's appointments and buy groceries and drop off kids at play basketball practice and make cookies for the class party and show up early for the big meeting. They take care of everything.

And often (not always, but often,) no one takes care of them.

They schedule their own appointments and make their own coffee and feel lost in the constant ebb and flow of needs around them.

That’s where I come in. If that's you, I want you to feel cared for and special. I want you to feel beautiful and sparkly and pampered. I hope you have people in your lives that do that for you, who bring you coffee in bed and pick up groceries on the way home. But just in case, I’m here to add sparkle to your days and make you feel gorgeous, even on the way to Trader Joe's …
