In some dusty corner of your jewelry box, there's a jumble of treasure. A broken gold chain from an old birthday gift, a too-small cocktail ring inherited from a distant relation, a lonely dolphin-kissing hoop earring. You know the one.
Maybe you always planned to "do something with it," or maybe you forgot about the pile entirely, I get it. Life is busy, and the idea of taking that pile to an old-fashioned jewelry store to design something new, sounds stressful, especially when you don't know where to start.
Welcome to Notions Imagined, a Guided Custom Process. I'm opening my sketch books and sharing the designs I've been dreaming of bringing to life. These are real sketches, imperfectly creative, hand-painted with watercolors and ready to create with your materials!
How does it work? Each Sketch is labeled with its various material components, as well as a few of the possible variations. Don't have all the materials needed for a piece you love? No problem! We use the materials you have and I supply the rest. You materials aren't a match to the design? Ok, we'll calculate your material's value and apply the credit to your dream project.

"Octavia" Necklace
This one feels like came from the treasure chest of a pirate ship. Imagined with a rustic 14k Gold Frame and chunky hammered bail, hightlighting a softly domed cushion of enameled Fine Silver. A glowing green emerald would glow richly, surrounded by Iolite Cabochons.
"Maeve" Locket
Fine Craft meets Woodland Fairy-core. Imagined as a locket or pendant, "Maeve" would be crafted in silver with impressions of wild foraged ferns, layered with Moss Green Vitreous Enamel surrounding a luminous Rainbow Moonstone.
"Ada" Necklace
This Deco-Inspired Starburst Necklace is perfect for resetting an heirloom diamond and edged with gold bubbles. Or Maybe a Sapphire and a scatter or tiny diamonds?
"Fae" Necklace
A dainty golden pendant, imagined in 14k Gold with cutout leaf spray. I pictured a lovely sapphire accent gem, but I also have a lovely little champagne diamond on my bench....
"Alexis" Necklace
A rich cobalt enameled medallion, with a deco-inspired star encircled by golden droplets... or diamonds?
"Fleur" Necklace
A soft silver picture frame, around a romantic floral cutout and silvery green enamel. Adorned with the dainty dots of gold?
"Wendy" Necklace
A pebble of Robin's egg blue enamel, a golden star. Simple but not basic, maybe with a little milgrain edging? Perfect for your Grandma's diamond...
