NOTES ON BRONZE ~ Bronze is an ancient alloy made from Copper & Tin. It’s durability and rich golden color have popularized its use throughout history, for both practical and decorative uses. When highly polished, Bronze has a finish similar to rosy yellow gold and shines beautifully. Each purchase of Bronze Notions of Lovely jewelry comes with a polishing cloth to maintain its luster for years of wear. Without occasional polishing, Bronze can develop a beautiful patina, with deeper color and richness. This natural process does not damage the jewelry and can be removed with a quick polish. We love both looks!
Because of its high Copper content, Bronze worn close to the skin can cause occasional skin discoloration. This washes off and causes no harm, to the skin or to the jewelry. This is a natural result of the reaction between Copper and oils in the skin.
To maintain your Bronze jewelry best, remove before swimming or showering, and store in a dry place.
